Have found the offering you refer to. And, although the front cover is tantalizing, the fact that it is 100 pages in length (where the original formatting was virtually 400 pages, it tells us that the interior must be an unreadable mess.
"Nor did the demon think to delay, but for his first victim he swiftly seized....and slit him wide open, biting into the body, drinking blood" down to the tasting of the blood of the monster part goes into the same mythological areas.
Looks like hard copies are available on Lulu, however I'm not sure whether they are officially licensed.
Looking forward to re-editions. Have not been able to find copies on Lulu, however, it would be nice to have hardcover editions of those.

A modern day Beowulf
I had not thought about it.
How do you mean?
"Nor did the demon think to delay, but for his first victim he swiftly seized....and slit him wide open, biting into the body, drinking blood" down to the tasting of the blood of the monster part goes into the same mythological areas.
That is a great quote.
Nevertheless, Beowulf is about the hero defeating the demon, not about enthroning the demon.
I know that. I meant from the other angle-becoming and enabling the monster.
So, more like an Anti-Beowulf?
Sort of, but my opinion of Beowulf was that he was a little, but in a subtle way of taking it in without identifying with the beast he fought.
